If you’re looking to connect with your inner yogi alongside travel and sunshine, Halcyon House’s three-day retreat is just for you.

Halcyon House is opening its doors to its amazing coastal chic boutique hotel for an inaugural three-day yoga retreat. Located at a little-known location, just thirty minutes north of Byron Beach, it’s the perfect little spot for a mid-year trip.

Join respected Yoga Guru Kate Kendall from Flow Athletic on a journey that is sure to leave you feeling at peace and ready to take on the second half of 2016. “Halcyon House is a dream place to practice yoga. The people, the ocean, sun and the beautiful surroundings make it ideal for slowing-down, drinking in the moment and really making the most out of the practice. I love it!” said Kendall. Rather than concentrating on correct poses, the focus will be on connections. “Connection is everything”, Kendall says, “it promotes better relationships (with self and others), improved focus and clarity and keeps you in line with all your desired feelings, goals and visions.”

From Wednesday 19 June to Friday 1 July, guests will have four progressive yoga classes, as well as the opportunity for additional water-based activities such as stand-up paddle boarding and surfing. A health-inspired menu that has us salivating will be provided for daily breakfast, two dinners and a picnic lunch. The entire menu has been created and prepared by Paper Daisy’s award-winning chef Ben Devlin.

Halcyon House Boutique Hotel offers a two-night stay with a unique 2-bedroom suite, both featuring their own ensuite, a spacious entertainment area packed and a large flat-screen TV (with surround sound and Apple TV, of course). To top it off you’ll feel spoilt with an exclusive balcony that overlooks views to the beach and headlands, making it the ideal spot to get totally Zen. There are various packages available, which start from $1640. This would be the perfect well-deserved, mid-year, guilt-free getaway for you and your favourite yogi partner.
