You’ve probably seen a resistance band or two hanging in the corner of your gym looking lonely. Or perhaps you want an easy workout to do at home with a piece of equipment that doesn’t weigh a tonne? We’ve got the answer. These three simple moves will work your legs, butt, arms, back and shoulders.

Resist-a-squat: Using a resistance band makes the upwards motion of a squat more difficult. Remember to keep your chest up as you drop down and push through your heels as you explode back to a standing position.

Bicep curls: Isolating your arms isn’t just for the guys in the free weights section. A resistance band is a great way to get your guns pumping! Stand on the band evenly to ensure you’re getting the same resistance through each arm.

Seated row: Double the band around your feet and hold the handles so that the band crosses over. As you pull keep your core switched on, your chest proud and your shoulder blades retracted.

These exercises are fantastic for higher rep ranges. Go for 20 reps on each exercise and repeat 3-4 times through.
