The Collagen Booster

What it does: Improves collagen production and elasticity.

Why it works: Peppers, strawberries and red currants help to stimulate collagen production in cells, which helps to promote the skin’s natural elasticity. The addition of lemon helps to zap stubborn cellulite by flushing toxins from the body.

Make it: Blend these ingredients – 1/2 red pepper, four large strawberries, 10 red currants, juice of 1/2 a lemon, pinch of fresh thyme leaves, ice and five grapes.

The Wrinkle Zapper

What it does: Wards off fine lines and boosts skin’s radiance.

Why it works: There’s a wealth of evidence to show that loading up on antioxidants can help to erase the signs of ageing. Antioxidants found in purple and blue fruit such as blackberries and blueberries help to combat harmful free radicals, which can damage the structure of cells and dull down skin’s youthful glow. This juice brings together the antioxidant benefits of dark coloured fruit with vitamin-E rich avocado, refreshing mint and fibrous apple.

Make it: Blend these ingredients, 1tbsp raw beetroot, three blackberries, 10 blueberries, 1/2 avocado, 1 sprig of mint, 1/2 apple, six red grapes and a handful of ice.

The Skin Clearer

What is does: Gives you a vitamin boost and cleanses your liver.

Why it works: Dark green vegetables are a fabulous source of liver cleansing nutrients. As one of the most important systems in the body, the liver filters toxins from our blood and stores fats and sugars, so if your liver isn’t happy your skin pays the price. Watercress and rocket are a powerhouse of liver-friendly nutrients and their potency is stronger when blitzed in liquid.

Make it: Blend these ingredients with ice, a handful of rocket, a handful of watercress, one sprig of mint, one sprig of parsley, 1/3 apple, seven red grapes, 1/2 hass avocado and juice of half a lemon.

What it does: Provides protection against the sun’s harmful rays.

Why it works: Yellow, red and orange produce such as mangoes, oranges, carrots and red peppers are packed with an antioxidant called lycopene, which has been shown to help protect skin from sunburn. Make it: Blend these ingredients, 1/2 mango, 1/2 red pepper, 1/2 mandarin, 1/2 carrot, 2 romaine lettuce leaves, pinch cayenne pepper, 200ml mineral water.
