What made you decide to enter this competition for the Sage Institute of Fitness Fitness Coach Program scholarship?
“I have wanted to be a part of the health and fitness industry since I was a child but have been held back by financial constraints. This scholarship has opened doors that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to access. I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity.”

How did you feel when you found out you’d won?
“I was in a little bit of disbelief but mostly ecstatic when I got the call. This will open so many opportunities for me and I can’t wait to get started!”

What do you love about fitness?
“I love that fitness doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t matter what you’re interested in, how old you are or what your budget is. There are so many different ways to bring fitness into your lifestyle to reap the benefits.”


What are you most excited to learn about during your course?
“I’m very excited to learn about nutrition coaching. I’ve always been conscious of what goes on my plate so it will be great to have a further understanding of that.”
