If you’ve been begging your significant other to get you a puppy for your birthday, here’s your chance to seal the deal: people with pets are more active than those who don’t have them. According to UK research, 32 per cent of dog walkers exercise for at least 30 minutes every day, and more than a third of them reckon their pets have improved their overall health.
