Chocolate and banana go together like avocado and well, everything. If you forgot to eat your bananas during the week, let them go a bit more brown and then use them for this brekkie of banana and chocolate oats by The Body Coach, Joe Wicks. It makes the perfect post-workout snack after a tough morning sesh! Make sure to prepare it the night before as it takes eight hours to soak.

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS
250ml almond milk
2 scoops (60g) vanilla protein powder
1 ripe banana, roughly chopped
½ tbsp cocoa powder (over 70% cocoa)
75g rolled oats
A little grated dark chocolate, to serve

METHOD
1. Place all the ingredients apart from the rolled oats and dark chocolate in a blender and blitz until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture over the oats and stir well. Leave to soak in a sealable container in the fridge for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
3. When you’re ready to eat, sprinkle the dark chocolate over the top.
