4 summer soiree cocktail recipes
You’re poolside, the gang is arriving for lunch in an hour and you’re looking for a little something to spice up your summer spread. You could pull out your go-to rosé or sparkling mineral water…or you could raise the bar with a this curated selection of summer cocktails and mocktails from this season’s hottest collaboration between SodaStream and renowned Mixologist Kurtis Bosley.
Kurtis is a bit of an #instadrink celeb with a feed loaded with delicious ‘too pretty to drink’ cocktails. You won’t regret idly scrolling his feed. Without further ado, your soiree cocktail menu:
Southside Cocktail
Ingredients
- 50 ml Gin
- 30ml Basil & Mint Syrup
- 30ml Lime
- 6 Lovage Leaves
- 90ml Sparkling water
Method
- Measure 50ml Gin, 30ml of basil and mint syrup, 30ml of lime juice into a glass with ice.
- Fill your SodaStream bottle to the fill-line and carbonate (you can substitute with sparking mineral water or soda water).
- Add 6 Lovage leaves to the soda water.
- Pour into glass with ice, garnish with lovage leaves and enjoy.
Fruit Cup Mocktail
Ingredients
- 15ml Wild Hibiscus and Grapefruit Syrup
- 15ml Elderflower Syrup
- 15ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 60ml Sparkling water
Method
- Measure 15ml of wild hibiscus and grapefruit syrup, 15ml of elderflower syrup and 15 ml of fresh lime juice into a glass.
- Fill your SodaStream bottle to the fill-line and carbonate (you can substitute with sparking mineral water or soda water).
- Pour into glass, and enjoy.
Sparkling Peach Tea Mocktail
Ingredients
- 30ml Pink Citrus Stock
- 45ml White peach tea
- 2 Lemon myrtle leaves
- 30ml Sparkling water
Method
- 30ml pink citrus stock and 45ml white peach tea into a glass.
- Fill your SodaStream bottle to the fill-line and carbonate (you can substitute with sparking mineral water or soda water).
- Add lemon myrtle leaves to carbonated water.
- Pour into glass, garnish with lemon myrtle leaves and enjoy.
Yuzu & Bush Ginger Muddle
Ingredients
- 20ml Yuzu Juice
- 15ml Elderflower syrup
- 15ml Bush ginger syrup
- 60ml Sparkling water
Method
- Measure 20ml Yuzu Juice, 15ml elderflower syrup and 15ml bush ginger syrup into a glass.
- Fill the SodaStream bottle to the fill-line and carbonate water using SodaStream machine.
- Add Pineapple Sage to carbonated water.
- Serve in tall stemmed glass with a fresh sprig of your favouorite greenery.
